Last Piece of the Puzzle for Tasmania LNG

GLP to design, build Micro-LNG plant & pipeline in Tasmania.GLP Plant has been awarded the contract by Tas Gas Networks to design and build the gas supply pipeline infrastructure between the Tasmanian Gas Pipeline (TGP) and the BOC Micro-LNG Plant being built at Westbury in Tasmania.The BOC Micro-LNG Plant will have the capacity to provide 50 tonnes per day of LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) to the heavy transport sector. This is the equivalent of 70,000 litres a day of conventional diesel, and is also being designed, built and commissioned by GLP Plant.Peter Ramsey, Managing Director of GLP Plant said, We are proud to have been selected by Tas Gas Networks for this work. It validates the time and effort we have invested in building world-class expertise in the small LNG plant market. The plant is expected to be fully operational mid 2010.
